I have always wanted to help people, it’s at the core of who I am. As a child I thought my calling was to be a Nurse, if anyone required a band-aid – I was the person for the job. My future nursing career ended at the age of 10 when I went to the blood bank with my Father and passed out at the sight of my Dad donating blood.
Many years later I stumbled into Financial Planning when working as a Secretary for Financial Planners and decided that I didn’t want to be the Secretary, I wanted to be the Planner. Years of study followed and in 2002 I achieved my goal of becoming a Financial Planner.
I feel so fortunate to have discovered my true calling in life and helping people to achieve their financial goals – the problem solving art of Financial Planning. I have a passion for it and find it so rewarding when I have implemented the plan for a client who now knows that they’re on the right track. Whether it be that they have the peace of mind to rest easy at night knowing that their loved ones are protected financially or that they can sit back, relax and enjoy their well earned retirement.
Away from work I enjoy spending time with my family, catching up with friends and travelling.
