Matt began his career in the finance industry in 2011 as a Senior Customer Service Officer with Heritage Bank in Warwick, where he worked for six and a half years before seeking a change in both environment and location. He moved to the Sunshine Coast hinterland, spending time with Bank of Queensland and the Commonwealth Bank, while also pursuing his interest in working with racehorses at Peachester Lodge.
After returning to Warwick, Matt worked in administration for Frasers Livestock Transport and later joined a financial planning practice as a Client Services Officer. Wanting to further develop his career in financial planning, Matt relocated to Brisbane and joined the RetireInvest team in October 2025.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys travelling both within Australia and overseas, spending time with his horses—whether competing or enjoying a relaxed trail ride—and being outdoors with his dog, Albert.
